How to Hear God for Your Business
Session 1
In this conversation, we talk about how God not only desires to speak to us about the more significant issues such as general direction or essential business decisions, but also the seemingly more minor things relating to our conscience at work, how we treat others, or respond to accusations. We discuss how this change of focus reflects our desire for God to work with us rather than for us.
Discerning Who You Can Trust
Session 2
In this session on Discerning Who You Can Trust, we focus on how to deal with issues that undermine trust in what God is building in yourself and others. We discuss how various enticements that undermine trust for millennials and Boomers have changed but, on the other hand, are the same expression of self-centeredness. This session also deals with our tendency to be either too pessimistic due to valid concerns about human nature or overly optimistic in relying too heavily on the sovereignty of God. We discuss how these tendencies adversely affect our judgment in business and how we can balance them appropriately.
Spiritual Warfare Within Organizations
Session 3
God has permitted warfare for our value, not for our hurt. In addition, He empowers us to fight and prevail. We discuss in more detail how God allows us to experience warfare in the workplace so that we can gain tremendous value from it.
Business Prayers God Will Answer
Session 4
In this conversation, we discuss why the kinds of business prayers that God will answer in this session really matter and why faith is often disguised as presumption. We discuss the difference between praying strategically and tactically and how we should determine the appropriate use of both.
